Yoga Teacher Training
Six weekends. Six months. One transformative journey.
September 10, 2027- February 20, 2028
Welcome. Whether you hope to teach yoga, deepen your personal practice or simply understand it in a more meaningful way, you are welcome here. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out—only curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn.
Our 200-hour teacher training offers much more than certification. You’ll explore yoga’s roots, history, philosophy and traditional practices while developing the practical skills and confidence to share yoga safely and authentically.
Designed to fit into real life, the program allows you to deepen your learning while balancing work, family and other commitments. Throughout the training, you’ll be supported in bringing yoga off the mat and into your relationships, daily choices and way of meeting the world.
You’ll also become part of a sangha—a community of people learning and growing together. The relationships formed throughout the program offer connection, encouragement and support that can continue well beyond the training.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help each trainee grow in knowledge, confidence and self-trust while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. We share the wisdom gathered through decades of practice with care, humility and deep respect for yoga’s traditions.
What You’ll Experience

Your Instructors
Chelsea Riley E-RYT 500 | Lead Instructor
Chelsea Riley is the visionary founder behind Coast Flow Yoga’s vibrant communities in Gibsons and Sechelt. Her remarkable journey in yoga began in 2001 when she became one of the youngest certified Bikram yoga instructors. This ignited a profound passion that led her to pursue a degree in aerial acrobatics from the National Circus School of Canada. Throughout her twenties, Chelsea toured as a professional aerialist, yet her love for yoga remained unwavering. She deepened her practice at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica and pursued various specialized trainings including Bhakti Flow Yoga, prenatal yoga, chair yoga, health coaching, Thai massage, and breathwork. With a profound devotion to Bhakti yoga, kirtan, and meditation, Chelsea infuses her classes with heart-centered practices that inspire and uplift. As an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, she continues to empower her students to explore the transformative power of yoga on and off the mat.
Leah Painter E-RYT 500 | Lead Instructor Anatomy and Physiology
Leah has been a body nerd for as long as she can remember. Initially drawn to yoga for cross-training various athletic activities, she became fascinated by how calm and grounded it made her feel. In 2007, she became a yoga teacher and over the years, encountered many students with various injuries and a wide range of abilities. Witnessing unique bodies moving in different ways sparked her curiosity and compassion to become a more knowledgeable movement teacher. Leah expanded her studies to include biomechanics, anatomy, and strength & conditioning. Certified in Functional Range Conditioning and Pain Foundations, she became a Certified Yoga Therapist in 2018 after four years of intensive training. Leah has worked in a multi-disciplinary clinic and one-on-one with conditions like pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy, backcare, chronic pain, post-natal issues, and various musculoskeletal problems. She values an evidence-based approach to movement teaching and continues to educate herself and others on the latest research and science. Believing in the body’s amazing ability to adapt and its inherent resilience, Leah teaches from a place of choice, play, and joy.
Melissa Enyedy ERYT500| Lead Instructor

Over the past 19 years of teaching, Melissa has become known for the heart she brings into every class—blending strong foundations with intuition, creativity, and soul. Her passion for the subtle realms, the nervous system, and the alchemy of sound and frequency shines through her work.

Forever Grateful– Melissa
The 200hr YTT at Coast Flow was truly life-changing and transformative. The instructors were so knowledgeable, supportive, and created the perfect balance of science, spirituality, and practical skill building. And the cohort was amazing – some of the most encouraging, warm and loving people I have ever met! I signed up to learn how to teach yoga, but what I gained was so much more. This training gave me: a deeper connection to myself and my spiritual practice, powerful tools to move through life with more ease and awareness, more confidence and clarity, insights into the body, mind, and nervous system and friendships that will last a lifetime. I can’t recommend this training more to anyone who’s looking for an experience that will open your heart, expand your mind, and transform your soul! I am forever changed and grateful.– Olivia
I joined the training to deepen my yoga practice, and my intentions shifted and grew further to teach and share my love and passion for yoga with others, which was unexpected until the last month of the training. I am forever grateful to Coast Flow teachers and mentors we have. The beautiful transformative journey that I had was such a significant gift. – Miho
