FAQs

Every class at Coast Flow is beginner-friendly, and you’re welcome to start wherever feels most exciting or aligned with your goals. If you’re unsure where to begin, we’d be happy to recommend a class based on your goals, experience, and interests.

Not at all. Flexibility may develop over time, but it isn’t the goal of yoga. At Coast Flow, we focus on how the practice feels rather than how it looks—supporting greater awareness, nervous system regulation and a deeper connection to yourself.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You’re welcome to bring a water bottle, although we also provide filtered water and complimentary tea.

Yoga mats are available to rent for $2, and mat rentals are included with our Yoga+ Membership.

That’s exactly why we created our Intro Pass. Your first three classes are an opportunity to explore different teachers and class styles, discover what feels best in your body, and find the rhythm of practice that works for you. If you’d like guidance, we’re always happy to recommend classes based on your goals and experience.

Yes! Your Coast Flow membership gives you access to both our Gibsons and Sechelt studios, so you can practice wherever it’s most convenient for you. Whether you’re fitting in a morning class near work or joining an evening class closer to home, your membership moves with you.

Join the waitlist! Spaces often become available as plans change. If a spot opens, you’ll automatically be added to the class and notified.

Regular classes may be cancelled up to 1 hour before the scheduled start time without penalty.

Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of your class or a late cancellation fee, depending on your membership or class pass.

For workshops and special events, please notify us at least 3 days in advance if you need to cancel. Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 3 days before the event.

Class series require 3 weeks’ notice for a full refund.

To cancel a membership, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. If you cancel your membership before completing the six-month commitment period, a cancellation fee of $75 will be applied. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to be flexible while maintaining the integrity of our membership agreements.

After your initial six-month commitment, you can turn off auto-renew at any time.

Simply log in to your account, select My Profile, then Passes & Memberships, and toggle the Auto Renew option to Off.

Gift cards are a wonderful way to support someone in making time for their wellbeing.

Simply purchase a digital gift card online and send it directly to your recipient, or forward it yourself with a personal message. Physical gift cards are available in studio.

Log in to your Coast Flow account, navigate to My Profile, then Billing, and enter your gift card number under Gift Card Redemption.

You can also bring your gift card into the studio, and we’ll be happy to apply it for you.

Yes. If you need to travel or take a short break from your practice, memberships can be placed on hold according to your membership terms. Please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help arrange it.

Please aim to arrive at least five minutes early. Out of respect for your fellow students and our community, late arrivals should be occasional rather than a regular occurrence. If you are running a few minutes behind, enter quietly and settle into your space with as little disruption as possible.

Book through our online schedule or the Achieve app. Advance booking is recommended, and you can manage your reservations directly from your account.

We have studios in Gibsons and Sechelt. Visit our Locations section  for addresses, directions and parking information for each studio.

Yes. Join select classes live through our Virtual Studio or practise later with the playback. Recordings are available for two weeks, giving you more flexibility to fit your practice into your schedule.

Your membership includes unlimited in-studio classes at both Coast Flow locations, access to our Virtual Studio and class playbacks, plus member savings on workshops, events and retail.

No previous aerial experience is needed for our beginner-friendly classes. Your teacher will offer guidance and options throughout class so you can build strength, skill and confidence at your own pace.

In many cases, yes. Please speak with your healthcare provider first and let your teacher know before class so they can offer appropriate options. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and choose the class that best supports you.

We’re always happy to help.

Whether you’re wondering which class to take, have questions about memberships, or simply want to say hello, we’d love to hear from you.
