First Visit Guide

At Coast Flow, we believe the greatest transformation doesn’t come from a single class—it comes from returning to your practice.

When to Arrive

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your first class so you have plenty of time to settle in, meet your teacher, and get familiar with the studio.

Our doors open 30 minutes before class. If you arrive earlier, the studio may still be closed while we prepare for the next class.

What to Bring

– Comfortable clothing you can move in
– A water bottle (optional — we also provide water and complimentary tea)
– A yoga mat (or rent one for $2. Mat rentals are included in our Yoga+ Membership)

Checking In

When you arrive, we’d love to meet you.

Please stop by the front desk and let us know it’s your first visit. We’ll show you around the studio, answer any questions, and help you settle in before class begins.

One of the things that makes Coast Flow special is our community. We love getting to know our students by name, learning what brought you here, and helping you find the classes that best support your goals.

During Class

Our classes are designed to be supportive, encouraging, and free from judgment.

There is no expectation to keep up or get everything “right.” Listen to your body, take breaks whenever you need to, and move in a way that feels supportive for you. Our teachers offer options and modifications so you can enjoy the practice at your own pace.

After Class

Take a few moments to linger if you’d like. Ask your teacher questions, enjoy a cup of tea, or introduce yourself to someone nearby.

Some of our strongest friendships have begun with a conversation after class, and we’d love for you to feel part of this community from your very first visit.

Ready for your first class?

Take your first step with extra support.
If you’d like a little more guidance before joining a group class, our private and semi-private sessions offer a welcoming space to build confidence at your own pace. Email us for details.

Build Your Practice

Regular movement changes us—not because of one great class, but because we return again and again.

We encourage you to aim for three movement sessions each week. It’s a sustainable rhythm that allows your body to adapt, recover, and grow while fitting into many busy lifestyles.

Below are three sample pathways to help you build a practice around your personal goals. Choose the one that speaks to you, and remember—you don’t have to be perfect. You simply have to keep showing up.

Find Calm

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Give your nervous system a chance to reset.
You’ll improve flexibility, reduce stress, sleep more deeply, and cultivate a greater sense of calm.
Perfect for: stress relief, recovery, nervous system regulation, and improving mobility.

A balanced week might include:

1× Yin Yoga

1× Gentle Yoga

1× Slow Flow

Build Strength

Feel stronger, more energized, and more confident in your body.
You’ll build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, develop core stability, and increase mobility.
Perfect for: building muscle, improving fitness, increasing energy, and feeling strong in everyday life.

A balanced week might include:

2× Sculpt Fusion

1× Dynamic Flow

OR swap one Sculpt Fusion for Aerial Fitness or Circus Core / Core Fusion

Feel Balanced

Our favourite all-around weekly routine.
It’s one of the simplest ways to experience why regular movement feels so transformative.
Perfect for: overall wellbeing, balanced fitness, sustainable energy, and feeling your best.

If you’re not sure where to begin, this is the pathway we’d recommend for balanced wellbeing:

 1× Dynamic or Steady Flow

1× Sculpt Fusion

1× Yin Yoga

As you discover the teachers and class styles you love, you’ll naturally create a routine that fits your body, your schedule, and your goals

If you’re not sure where to begin, we’d love to help. Just ask one of our team members—we’re always happy to recommend classes based on what you’re hoping to achieve.
