35-Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

May 22 @ 5:30 pm - May 31 @ 6:30 pm

35-Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

Step into the playful, liberating world of aerial yoga — a practice that invites both surrender and strength. In this 35-hour immersion, you’ll explore the art and skill of teaching yoga in suspension, learning how to guide others safely and confidently through this uplifting practice.

This course is open to all students and registered as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program (YACEP).
Only 200-hour Certified Yoga Teachers will receive an Aerial Yoga Teaching Certificate upon completion.

What is Aerial Yoga?

Aerial yoga weaves traditional yoga with the freedom of flight. Using a soft silk hammock for support, the body learns to move with more ease, agility, and grace. The hammock shifts your relationship with gravity — helping you release tension, explore new strength, and discover spaciousness from within.

This practice blends playfulness with deep presence. It supports all ages, all body types, and all levels, encouraging confidence and curiosity while expanding what’s possible.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to safely teach a 75-minute aerial yoga class with grounded cueing and mindful assists.
  • A deep understanding of aerial postures, their purpose, benefits, and variations for every body.
  • How to craft intentional class sequences that flow with balance, strength, and release.
  • Rigging and equipment safety essentials to ensure every student feels supported and secure.

Practicum & Certification

To complete your certification, you’ll take part in 3 practicum hours within our aerial program — an opportunity to practice teaching, receive feedback, and integrate what you’ve learned in community.

Take Flight

Through this training, you’ll develop spatial awareness, awaken the joy of flight, and empower yourself through movement that defies gravity. As you learn to trust the hammock and your own inner strength, you’ll also discover how to hold that same space for others — supporting them to rise, release, and remember what it feels like to truly soar.
