The Yoga of Mindfulness

June 7 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Yoga of Awareness
A nervous system-based workshop for when life feels like too much

Modern life asks a lot of us. Many people move through their days feeling rushed, overstimulated, disconnected, or simply exhausted.

Yoga of Awareness is a gentle, experiential workshop designed to help you understand and support your nervous system in practical ways.

This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about learning how your body responds to stress — and how to work with it rather than against it.

What We’ll Explore

  • How the nervous system responds to stress and overwhelm
  • Common patterns like anxiety, shutdown, and over-functioning
  • The physiology of regulation and why safety matters
  • How awareness changes your capacity to respond

What to Expect

  • Short, grounding awareness practices
  • Simple somatic tools you can use in daily life
  • A slow, accessible yoga flow to integrate what you notice
  • Guided journaling and reflection
  • Space for connection and optional sharing
  • The workshop will be spacious, practical, and experiential.

You’ll Leave With:

  • A clearer understanding of your nervous system patterns
  • Tools to help orient to safety and steadiness
  • Practices to regulate through breath and body awareness
  • Greater capacity to feel emotions without becoming overwhelmed
  • A more compassionate relationship with yourself

This Workshop Is For You If:

  • You feel anxious or chronically overwhelmed
  • You have difficulty slowing down
  • You feel disconnected from your body
  • You are tired of running on autopilot
  • You tend to over-function or push through stress
  • No prior yoga or meditation experience is required.
  • This is a supportive space to slow down, learn, and reconnect.
